A tall and handsome man who hurried back to the old house with a medicine bag. He found that Ming Shu had left and saw blood on a messy blue cloth. He entered the old house through a hidden hole in the floor, disappearing into it. His identity and relationship to Ming Shu is not yet revealed in this text.
