Supporting character. Su Niannian's biological father and Tao Chunhua's husband. He is Su Niannian's biological uncle according to the text. He silently smoked his tobacco pipe throughout the confrontation, chose to turn a blind eye to Tao Chunhua's mistreatment of Su Niannian because she gave him a son and daughter, and expressed helplessness that the family could only rely on Su Niannian since Li Junlang hadn't suffered and the younger children were still young. He showed a hint of heartache when seeing Su Niannian's scars but ultimately sided with maintaining family peace.
