Former village deputy head, over fifty years old, formerly served in the frontier army. A wound from an arrow to his leg left him with a permanent limp. He is one of the oldest and most respected men in Qin Village. He commanded considerable respect and helped organize villagers for meetings. He used charcoal to write names on a wooden board during registration. His handwriting was crooked and messy, barely legible.
