A yamen official who previously helped Qin Ming select weapons at the county yamen. He was sent by County Magistrate Wang Xing to deliver the appointment decree naming Qin Ming as the new Village Head. Also referred to as Qian Jiang in the text. He accepted a fifty-tael silver ingot from Qin Ming as tea money.
