Formerly Princess Jiànníng, she is the daughter of Hong Taiji, making her Emperor Kangxi's aunt and Muxue's Grand Aunt. During the Shunzhi Era, she was married to Wu Yingxiong, son of Prince Pingxi Wu Sangui. During the Kangxi Era rebellion, her husband and son were executed by strangulation. After the rebellion was suppressed, the Emperor changed her title and she has lived in seclusion in her former residence, rarely seeing anyone.
