Pear Blossom's mother. She was spirited before marriage but had to endure her in-laws' mistreatment after marrying into the Xiang family. Her husband (Pear Blossom's father) has been serving in the Grace army for nineteen years, returning only once or twice a year. She raises four children alone with no support. Upon hearing that Pear Blossom was sold, she collapsed in grief but then bravely went to confront her mother-in-law, inviting the village head to witness the confrontation. She is described as having a fiery nature.
