Male supporting character. A police academy student and childhood friend of Furuya Rei, having known him since they were very young. Furuya calls him Hiro. He is described as gentle in tone and helped stop fights between Matsuda and Furuya. He handed Furuya a tissue when Furuya choked on his ramen.
