A deep-red rose variety airlifted directly from France, almost sixty years old when planted at Rose Manor. After the rain stopped, its roots spread throughout the entire villa overnight, allowing any single root within its reach to move freely. It was attacked by mutated Tetranychus mites that drilled into its leaves and sucked its sap, causing one branch on the inner right side to die.
