Leysha is Ruth and Leia's mother, a former courtesan who was once considered one of the most sought-after courtesans in the kingdom. Despite her pride and elegance, she eventually set aside her dignity and accepted Lyman Kaizel's proposal to protect her children from growing up in the courtesans' district. She now lives quietly at the Kaizel estate, sewing in a room. Lyman threatened to not recognize Ruth and Leia unless she accepted his proposal.
