Leia is Ruth's younger sister, the daughter of Leysha and Lyman Kaizel. She is the reason Leysha eventually accepted Lyman's marriage proposal, as she feared Leia might inherit the same fate as a courtesan. Leia is one of the candidates being considered for Ail's betrothal. She was left behind when Ruth fled the Kaizel mansion at age thirteen.
