The eldest son of Lin Yongnian and Li Shuping, married to the eldest daughter-in-law. He followed his wife when she left for her parents' house after the wedding incident. His wife left because the bride price and red envelopes given to Liu Qin were greater than hers. He is not present during the events described in this chapter.
