Su Huai's grandfather and the patriarch of the Su family. He sent a divorce letter to his pregnant daughter-in-law (Su Huai's grandmother), causing her suicide. He later regretted his actions, returned home, and found his wife dead. He now sweeps graves annually but Su Huai refuses to forgive him. He is wealthy, wears festive red robes, and dotes on his grandsons, especially Su Fang.
