He is known for his odd personality, stern expression, and for mostly staying home gardening and cooking for himself, rarely venturing past his own yard. He sometimes shooes customers away from his shop in fits of frustration. He owns a big yellow dog named Yao Yao. He brought a thank-you gift (a porcelain set) to Yun Fenghe after Taxue the cat found Yao Yao when it got lost.
