The protagonist, originally a fearsome Taotie demon feared across the Three Realms. After accidentally eating something poisonous while exploring an uncharted secret realm, he fell into a deep slumber and was transformed into a child no older than four with soft dark brown curly hair, tiny black horns, baby fangs, and a fluffy tail. His demon energy is scattered and unusable due to the lingering poison. He is picky about food, prefers cooked meals, and initially viewed his guardian Yun Fenghe as potential food. Over time he developed genuine affection for Yun Fenghe and the stray cats. He adopted the alias Yun Tao (taking Yun Fenghe's surname) and calls him brother. He is currently on a hunting expedition to find proper food for himself and his brother.
