The village chief of the village where Feng Mian lives. He is an elderly man who, along with his wife Granny Si, was washing pickled cabbage at the village entrance when Feng Mian went to fetch water. He curiously asked Feng Mian about her upcoming marriage and the identity of the young man who would marry into their family.
