A hunter who owns a large yellow dog named Jiabao. He wears a tiger-skin cloak and once killed a tiger that threatened a village with his bow and dagger, sustaining a scar on his abdomen. He sells furs in the city and suggests Wei Lan try ginseng hunting in Wuchuan Mountain. He is usually a man of few words but becomes talkative when recounting his tiger hunt.
