Supporting character, the husband of Niu Ailing. He holds the position of Commissar and has an office where Lu Sinian brings Ye Sanqiu to report Wang Xiaoyun. He is typically stoic but is shocked and confused by Lu Sinian's sudden appearance with a fiancée. He is surprised that Lu Sinian would come to him rather than handling it through the courtyard women's committee.
