Seventy: Ten Thousand People Suspect Couples and the Compound is Crazy

In 1975, Western Province, Ye Sanqiu is known as the "demoness" of Fierce Bull Commune. When brigade captain Li Weimin visits her home demanding she compensate Wang Zhiqing for knocking out her teeth, Ye Sanqiu reveals she overheard Wang gossiping about her. The original Ye Sanqiu was an orphan who died three years ago after being forced into an arranged marriage with an old widower. Ye Sanqiu, a modern woman from the future, transmigrated into her body and has since lived without restraint, beating anyone who provoked her.

Grandma Ye, who raised the original Ye Sanqiu, tries to negotiate with Wang Zhiqing at the youth dormitory but fails when Wang threatens to report Ye Sanqiu to the commune. Meanwhile, in the capital, the Lu family prepares for Lu Zhao's birthday. His eldest son Lu Siyan is rebellious and absent. Wang Xiaoyun, Lu Zhao's second wife, manipulates family dynamics to favor her own son Lu Mingyang. Lu Siyan returns late and confronts his father about Wang Xiaoyun's past, causing Lu Zhao a health crisis.

Ye Sanqiu travels to the capital, arriving at the Lu family compound. She discovers her fiancé is Lu Siyan, the same rebellious young man causing family turmoil. The marriage arrangement connects the two families, bringing Ye Sanqiu into the Lu household where complex power struggles exist between Lu Zhao, Wang Xiaoyun, Chen Huiru, and the two sons.
