Commander of the Yulin Guards, in his thirties, from a noble background. He only takes orders from the Emperor and was sent by the old emperor to assist the Crown Prince in investigating the arson and assassination case at Chongfu Temple. Initially respected the young Crown Prince but felt compelled to submit after witnessing his composure and intelligence. He led the Yulin Guards to capture Chu Jiaming and later led the rescue of the men under Chu Jiaming's command with Wu Yi as guide.
