Cheng Jin Nian's biological grandmother and Du Hongxia's mother. She was the first wife of the maternal grandfather. She gave birth to three daughters including Du Hongxia (the eldest). She died from tuberculosis after her husband neglected to get her proper medical treatment, preferring to have a son instead of another daughter.
