A neighbor and friend of Xu Wanchun's family. She repeatedly asked Xu Wanchun to take care of her daughter Li Yulan. She and her husband helped Xu Wanchun and Xu Hehua, and insisted that Yulan be allowed to go to school instead of being married off as a child bride.
