-this book had the potential to be 5 stars. The author strong points are :making likeable characters, balanced power scale and overall interesting powers, very good humor(plot kinda basic and linear tho). The characters are so well written and interesting that mc isn’t even top 3.
- why is this the biggest fumble in the history of novels? Author randomly decides to adopt a “system” even tough he is perfectly capable to write and doesn’t need any crutch to progress his novel, in fact, the system messes up the whole story and adds tens of gigantic plot holes that leave a bad aftertaste while reading it. Its literally self sabotaging, actually wicked work on his part.
-also the romance is unfortunately bad… yeah ik its a slow burn and shi, but slow burn has to make sense, u cant progress one chap and then the next one ur back to square one. I feel like bro added romance only so he could fit a few more snarky jokes in.

novel started good with good build up to main character ascent but book two was just where the tempo dropped and the excitement faded, it got weird for me, i wont bother to read more, i dont have any expectations for mc even if he gets strongers hes just too bland, nothing interesting to him except his said wisdom that remains to be seen, there has to be something in the mc that keeps me reading, this mc doesn't.
The dialogues also got weird from book 2.
All in all novel has good potential but author ruined it with weird female interactions, boring power settings, lack of focus on mc, mc initial values or foreshadowing of it is completely disregarded, the novel took a turn that i do not find pleasing but some people might.
It's akin to "The Girls Who Haunt My Memories," but lacking the depth. The protagonist's connections to powerful individuals who adore him provide ample opportunities for plot twists. In contrast, the main character from "Girls Who Haunt My Memories" relies solely on his own actions. This MC, however, has a team of girls who effortlessly assist him and often drive the narrative forward. At times, it seems the author is exaggerating the flaws of the characters and the主角's fortunate circumstances, like having a high school crush who coincidentally runs an apartment and offers a scholarship just to defy her parents – it's almost too convenient.
Nonetheless, it remains an entertaining read. I find myself drawn to these stories that explore themes of regret and fantasy.
In general, it was an enjoyable read. I appreciated this web novel for its unique take on the protagonist, who possesses immense power yet chooses to remain unassuming, unlike many other stories in this genre. He isn't out to be the hero; he doesn't crave the spotlight, and he's content with staying in the background. The slice-of-life aspect and his desire to simply observe and experience the new world he's trapped in are refreshing.
Unfortunately, there's a persistent issue with annoying, overbearing young girls who seem to interfere with the protagonist's journey. Characters like that started to grate on my nerves, particularly around Volume 7 when the MC unexpectedly gains a title and starts attracting unwanted attention from stalkers. I'm not sure where the story goes from there, but I've reached my limit with the loli情节 and can no longer tolerate it.

The translation is fine. It's a shame that the story lacks any real depth or substance. There are too many dialogues, and not enough descriptive narration about what is happening. Failure to do so means readers are left wondering about the world-building. It's like mindlessly watching a shuttlecock getting pass from one side of the net to the other. The dialogues are aplenty, but they feel flat and lifeless because there is no distinct characterization. All in all, a horrible piece of fiction that feels like it's written by a teenager. The only reason why I read it was to obtain Fast Pass to unlock chapters. What a waste of my 10 minutes. 1/10
