?keep up the good work. and please update often
A very good read.
Awesome plot author! I'm very curious to know more. Can't wait to read further .
When I witnessed this earlier, I couldn't help feeling a sense of familiarity... I'm not sure if I've read this web novel before, considering how many Chinese web novels (QT and QW) I've come across in machine-translated versions. Some have become blurred in my memory. Upon revisiting, I confirmed my previous encounter. It's a decent read, but I might have stopped due to laziness, I suppose.
As an aside, I got so engrossed in reading Chinese BL stories from Chinese websites that I didn't realize many of them had already been translated on Novel Updates. I hope there are more translations of heartwarming and innocent QT or QW stories out there.
Actually, I recall why I stopped reading this particular story – it wasn't because I lost interest. The issue was that the male lead was consistently portrayed as extremely attractive, which made it challenging for me to picture him as the dominant role. It's not that I judge people based on their appearance in fictional contexts (I do appreciate a strong, charming bottom too, personally ?), but it felt like the author favored the top character by describing them excessively as hot, handsome, or beautiful.
Meanwhile, the main character was often simply described with an endearing, innocent appearance.
It would be refreshing to see the main character, at least once, as the captivating, stunning, or gorgeous one, wouldn't it?
Despite loving the main character, I must admit, I'm not particularly fond of the male lead. He's alright, but he doesn't quite fit my ideal type of leading man.
This narrative stands out due to its well-developed cast of characters, each with their own beliefs, ambitions, and emotional depth. The story unfolds with numerous character developments, plot twists, and deaths, providing a rich tapestry for readers to engage with. The author offers insightful commentary on societal biases, particularly regarding gender, and explores themes of justice and power.
The protagonist undergoes a profound moral evolution as she matures, captivating readers with her growth and independence. She values freedom above all else – the freedom of her body, mind, and choices, even in the face of societal expectations. Although romance plays a minor role, her understanding of love's complexities comes from witnessing its tragic consequences in her various lives.
However, the portrayal of humanity as universally virtuous may be a point of contention for some, especially given the author's choice to elevate humans as the pinnacle of intelligence and resilience. As a hamster supremacist, this aspect might be less appealing, though others may overlook it.
In terms of translation, while this web novel from China initially had potential concerns about nationalism or subtle racism, these issues are relatively minimal in this particular story. There are a few minor aspects that could bother sensitive readers, but overall, they should not detract significantly from the narrative.
To sum up, the story is an engaging and thought-provoking journey with well-rounded characters and a focus on personal growth,尽管它在某些观念上可能具有局限性。
Not thatday?
But surely today
Ngl it's your own opinion so I ain't gon hold u but saying this isn't original is just a bold faced lie. I'm willing to bet my left nut you haven't read a single cultivation novel like this. Matter fact. I'll put both of my nuts on the line that's millions of kids I'm ready to die behind this book.
