Tough read. The world building and the premise of the story are great, but the following points make me cringe from time to time (minor spoilers): the protagonist is supposed to be the former leader of a special forces unit, but it would've been more fitting if he was just some random guy. He risks fainting in the field (on multiple occasions), sends his most unfitting subordinate on a diplomatic mission (that guy is a fanatic who doesn't shy away from using an excessive amount of force) and tries to motivate another subordinate by basically telling him that suicide is also an option.
I've already read a few hundred chapters a few months ago but stopped, but it's good if you found this novel. You found gold.The author is a chad for making all the chapters free and I respect him for keeping the novel going while it's all free.

I’ve already read the full novel on another website and have to say it is one of my all time favourites! There are plot twists, satisfying endings for the villains, a great FL and a good ML. The story line puts the ML and FL’s love to the test and the story falls into the category of historical,romance, drama and a bit of magic. ~*Even if the ending isn’t as satisfying as I wished it to be ( don’t know what happens to the other characters after the whole conflict was resolved), I still loved it!*~<>Thumb up author!<>

probably one of the surprisingly good yet underrated book out there in this site. I don't understand how this book hasn't taken off yet but to those who happen to be reading my review you should definitely go and try out this book and see what I am saying. I think for the most part you'd agree with what I say specially when you compare the quality of the books on this site. it's pretty good .

Well to be honest i saw a lot of potential on ur history but i don't like the type of mc that i've saw. Hi tries to be some kinda of Captain America like but this is not the type that i like. So to summarize the author either is sadic or want to run totally from any sign of a edgy mc. To be rlly honest everything i liked except the mc just not my cup of tea.
I love reading this book, though I read it on different devices a lot. I suggest this book for any reader. Make sure not to accidentally miss your place in the book.
I have read further in another website. I am really disappointed. The redseal arc and his grandson totally put an end to this novel for me. Also the MC, his mother and other powerful cultivators can't seem to kill weaker cultivators than themselves. It is unrealistic. Another thing I don't like is the complexity of the novel. It is getting out of hand with reincarnation, time-travel, transmigration and two many characters.The junior sister character was not needed. You should have focused on his relationship with his mother on this book and introduced a late romance from another realm when he gets really powerful. good luck on your novel
