Imagine reading and getting free chapters. But the the novel goes premium ( meaning I have to pay to read) to 1) increase chapter release rate 2)Translator gets stable income. I'm fine with the novel going premium (not really) because we get more chapters and for the other benefits (tbh idk if there really are any). Now, it's been 2 months and the translator has released a chapter or given an update. Neither has webnovel. Its funny cuz the original novel is already finished, but this translate one isnt b/c no one will translate.

Writing quality 2/5- If I'm guessing, author's first language isn't English. Lots of mistakes everywhere in general.Story development 2/5- Very 'go with the flow' -esque. It's just not interesting. Story is 'told' and not 'shown'. Character design 2/5 - MC makes some smart moves from time to time. Though there's not much substance to him or the side characters. Side characters are dumb, MC is overpowered, and they worship the MC. MC also makes some bad decisions with no good reason.World background 3/5 - Maybe the saving grace of this novel. Personally, I like cultivation backgrounds, so I'm rating this a bit higher. Otherwise, it would be a 2.5/5 for the low level of originality. Author needs to step up his game and learn how to describe landscapes.
It is amusing, story severely lacks world building, plot holes are gaping wide. For no reason MC keep healing his father w a weal cultivation base and doesn't progress. So meaningly instead of getting stronger to do it more efficiently, MC is being smart and not progressing for no real reason xDAlso, this novels MC is even more of a human trash than typical CN novel. And I thought that CN novel's main characters being worse than the antagonist couldn't get much worse! I totally recommend reading first few chapters! it's amusing to no end :D gaping plot holes and worse than normal CN chatacter build makes it good for a laugh of absurdity. Basically- a good giggle for amazing inconsistency, yet novel content wise is as good as the noble character of the MC.

The story is good and i like how the prince is arrogant but you should make it so stronger peoplefight him and one defeat him so he have a motive in life.
Story is decent and it's a nice read if you're bored - However the translation is so fucking awfull, it's in badly need of an editor. On another note, more and more stories on Qidian is really lacking editors, many of the stories are pretty much so badly mawed by the translator that it's impossible to read - This one/others Qidian is dropped until and editor comes along.

An editor who selected a novel with a rating of 3.3, which is hated by pretty much everyone other than bots instead of the many other good novels available should probably resign out of shame. Shame on qidian for taking away the opportunity of good writers just to promote their agenda.
This novel should be required reading for all authors (Whether it's xianxia, xuanhuan, Wuxia, Sci-Fi, etc.) to show what is possible with the format. ToHG puts basically every other novel to shame.I'm continuously blown away by how the plot progresses and unfolds, along with the great character development. The cliche'd "murder-hobos" and ****ty young masters are nowhere to be found, and characters who are supposed to be smart ARE ACTUALLY SMART. ToHG proves that you don't have to make everyone a moron to make the MC stand out.Also, the world building is so good that the MC doesn't have to do the usual "Well, I'm too OP in the mortal world, time to go to a higher realm and reset the power levels". The closest other work I can think of to compare to this novel is Gintama (manga/anime). It also has comedy, tragedy, and super hype battles, and most of all it keeps you guessing as to what's going to happen, since the typical overused tropes don't apply.
This may be the worst LN I have ever read. All it is doing is putting a few popular LNs and mashing then together. Characters seem to come from 2010 harem animes and somehow the MC has the luck of a god. The MC is next to useless in terms of realism but of course, since it is a fantasy LN, it doesn’t matter as long as the MC has everything. The MC’s greed is more than the Chinese government. And what pis*es me off even more is that it actually plagiarizes some of my fav LN’s and the authors for those LN’s actually try and make nice, interesting, and they don’t plagiarize. In fact I will give this LN and award, it gets the worst LN of the year!!!! Yay!
