This novel is a compelling story. Despite the chapters being relatively short and the plot slowing down around chapter 134, it doesn’t detract from the overall experience.

Some people, particularly one who described the "villain protagonist" as "bad" using the term "incel," might not fully grasp what a villain is. It really doesn’t matter, but it would be nice if they had a more valid reason. The novel is excellent, so perhaps give it a try? Ultimately, the choice is yours.
It seems like the reader is expressing disappointment with the book's reception. The story revolves around a man who must compromise his identity to survive. The main characters, ML and MC, don't develop romantic love; their relationship is more transactional, with MC providing sexual favors and being obedient in exchange for privileges. ML appreciates MC's looks and compliance but lacks respect, keeping MC in the dark about important matters and not considering his feelings (akin to a master-servant dynamic). MC gradually loses his sense of self, initially wanting respect for his efforts, due to the acknowledgment of his status as a pet and dependency on ML. The author's decision to make MC fall in love despite the disrespect is confusing, particularly since their interactions remain subservient even near the end. While the theme is intriguing and tragic, the reader emphasizes that this is not a romance novel by any means.
True, translation also plays a major role. The problem that arises for the fans later is like you wanna recommend the wn to a friend but couldn't because you get embarrassed by just the SSS prefix, like you know the story is good but nobody gets a very good first impression just because of the name.
