I need to talk about the emotional weight of this chapter because it hit me harder than I expected. Gu An'an walking into that classroom alone—'She had always been a loner, with no friends'—and everyone looking at her with 'disdain, contempt, mockery'... that's a specific kind of loneliness that doesn't get enough attention in fiction. She's the biological daughter, the 'real' one, but she has no one. No allies, no witnesses, no one who would vouch for her. The family dinner scene is brutal in its own way. Gu Wencheng 'clearly wanted to say something to Gu An'an, but Gu An'an kept a cold expression, and the head of the household couldn't bring himself to lower his pride.' Both of them want to bridge the gap but pride gets in the way. And Gu An'an just finishes her breakfast in 'a few bites, grabbed her bag, and turned to leave.' She's not going to beg for their attention. That's not weakness—that's dignity. But it also makes my heart ache a little because she deserves better. The most emotionally charged moment for me though is Gu Wanrou's internal monologue after Gu Jiayan leaves. All that fake sweetness evaporates and she's just seething: 'Everything that had happened today was so out of control. And all of it was because of Gu An'an.' The fact that Gu An'an exists is apparently an inconvenience to her. She's not just jealous—she's threatened. And that threat is making her desperate enough to frame someone for theft. Meanwhile Gu An'an is just... calm. She goes to buy surveillance cameras like it's a normal errand. She places the mini-camera 'discreetly' and 'hopefully' it captures everything. There's this quiet resilience in her that I find incredibly moving. She's been wronged by her own family and her classmates and she's still planning ahead instead of falling apart.
Already a decent read from just the prologue, I will support and keep reading!

I come, I see, I like, I leave.
the story is so deranged that i can't tell if the author is being serious or joking when writing the chapters. it's so funny lmao. seraphine is an interesting character and i liked how you added depth to the other characters. i'm aching to read more!
I realize that the character doesn't have the same personality as the beginning, but don't worry, the plot has a very logical explanation that is satisfying.
As a new author, [Pheonix Hart] shows incredible potential with their engaging storytelling and unique ideas. The characters are relatable, the plot keeps you hooked, and there's a sense of passion behind every word. While there’s room to grow in areas like pacing or finer details, this author’s creativity and dedication shine through. It’s exciting to see someone so early in their journey already making an impact.I have no doubt that with time and experience, [Pheonix Hart] will become a standout in their genre. Keep writing—you’re off to an amazing start!

The beginning chapter is very hilarious, with the protagonist's interaction with the lady at the counter, shortly before being snuffed out by Truck-kun.
