As someone who has caught up to the latest translation as of 24 January 2019.
I suggest everyone give the novel a chance. The novel does start off awkwardly, but the author seems to pick up a sense of direction not too long after. There are several ideas that the author wants to bring to fruition, and they are very ambitious. It'll be interesting to see how the author handles it.
In terms of the MC: The MC is awkwardly developed in the beginning, but you start to accept the MC's change rather quickly. It's like how Miley Cyrus went from how she was in Hannah Montana to her song Wrecking Ball.
In terms of kingdom building: It's fast in the beginning; because the author has many ambitious ideas that he wants to start on. But, the story does slow down to a nice pace later.
Dropped. The author went from daily updates to not updating in a month, without even giving the novel a "Taking a break" status. Based on the criteria for stars, this is a 2.6, but personally, this is a one.

Bits and pieces of various other novels badly pieced together. Not an ounce of originality. There must be hundreds of beast taming novels on this site by now, yet the protagonists always have the same few pets. I only read a few chapters and there are already so many red flags.
The story takes place a mere 17 years after a literal apocalypse, yet we have a fully functioning society with advanced knowledge on spiritual energy (which is new) and genetic technology. I can guarantee that later in the story we’ll have a whole bunch of old masters and old experts full of knowledge on beasts as if they had been learning the stuff their whole lives and not the same amount of time as literally anyone else who’s at least in their twenties.
The protagonist died because he killed a mosquito, which is a big no-no because mosquitoes are now super poisonous and if you touch them you die; yet later we learn that in his previous life the protagonist was a member of a beastmaster’s entourage and he was the team’s survival expert… the beastmaster was naturally a female beastmaster and died, I’m sure in this new life he’ll get the chance to save the jade beauty and add her to his collection.
His first pet is a bear… so unoriginal it hurts. At some point I’m sure he’ll get a green caterpillar and the usual dragon or phoenix.
He lived a pathetic life and by the time he died 10 years later, he never even managed to gather enough money to buy the awakening potion. Despite that he has tons of convenient knowledge he should not have had acess to, considering he should have been busy trying to survive at the bottom of society.
All in all i’d say read it only if you’re new to Webnovel or the genre.

As there's only 6 chapters out currently this will be negatively influencing the review FOR NOW.
This is my opinion and personal preference only.
The story starts out like many others, but not exactly like them, it's changed just enough for it to not be another boring cultivation novel generic start.
My personal preference is that I don't get slapped with text walls of world background, or extensive family knowledge, that's quite unnecessary and can be pushed until later in the story. The author does this well as he gives just enough information to catch your attention but not overwhelm the reader. (Had to give 1* for lack of world background FOR NOW)
Our main character wasn't an all powerful God-like being before his death, but a man who just wants to live eternally through his accumulation of alchemy knowledge. Which is great because he doesn't get everything he wants, and learns a lesson that not everything in life is attainable, even through hard work and dedication.
The author does a great job at making a story well written even though English is not their native language. You may find grammatical errors here and there but they will in no way effect CURRENTLY getting the jist of the sorry.
Overall I believe that this novel is a good read which has potential, it's not poorly written or pumped out with glaring errors just for something to be read. I can't wait to see more chapters and I have added this to my library.
A synopsis that doesn’t stink of clichés? No perfect but unhappy protagonist, loser protagonist, betrayed protagonist, untalented protagonist, or any other cringe worthy protagonist settings? Not to mention the mature level of grammar shown, but isnt this too good to be true?
The philosophical beginning the book offered was quite interesting to read, and it was a good start to a book that could into an entire adventure.
