Very easy to read translation wise, 5 stars there.Stability of updates seems pretty decent, 4 stars there.Well, let's get into the thick of it, the story development just doesn't feel 'real' it's like reading a manifesto. It's honestly so dreadfully boring with very 2 dimensional characters, I really, really tried to enjoy it because I have nothing else to read but it's just not possible.The world background is also pretty shallow and it's clear that the author wanted the world to be 'better' from his own POV like China ruling over Japan and Korea. The issue here is that he lacks the skills to write it properly without just stating 'China rules over Japan and Korea'.I must say that this story uses A LOT of copyrighted and well known characters/stories which kinda feels bad especially since it comes off as very rude towards the authors of said stories. The MC has pretty much no personality except being lazy and wanting to be a proper main characters in the sense that everyone will look at you, adore you, and that sort of thing, instead of being a backdrop (which she won't really graduate from)I'll end this review with saying that I absolutely love, love the concept of her golden finger but unfortunately the author just couldn't write up to par compared to his idea.

I need to talk about this line because it absolutely wrecked me: "She had been 'dead' for three years, and he had been mad for three years." Gu Ning standing there, hearing that Shen Jinyan lost his mind the moment she died, and she couldn't even process it in the moment. Her reaction wasn't dramatic — just this sour, bitter, swollen ache, like swallowing aged peach blossom wine that had gone bad. That's the thing about this story's emotional core: it doesn't scream, it simmers. And then you have Chi Yan, who has been silently caring for her through the night, and when he finds out she went to see Shen Jinyan's mother, his disappointment is so quiet it cuts deeper than any shout. He says "I'm sorry" against her forehead while she's unconscious. I literally had to pause the book. The way he applies fresh lipstick over his purple lips afterward — hiding the damage, always hiding — it's devastating. And Liu San's threat about Wang Shao? The fact that someone was harassing Gu Ning daily just because of a marriage consideration? My blood was boiling. But the most heartbreaking thread is Jia Xiangwei holding Gu Ning's hand and saying her hands were warm like a small stove, and Gu Ning thinking about what would've happened if she hadn't been switched at birth. A mother's touch and a daughter's grief colliding in one moment. I'm not okay.
It has racist content and and Chinese biased against Korean and Japanese which has shown multiple times that. I don't need to read this anymore it is not even that as all the content is off actual artist in Real world and not made by author for the characters and story it is a stolen work with racism involved and all spiced up to make a novel that is selling already famous people's work. Which is a given that will make this novel famous.

This mc is a moron. That's all I can say so far. He's so ignorant and the author doesn't even try to make him improve, he just gives him more things to be ignorant about. And what's with him being so obsessed with being secretive? Shouldn't be be trying to become a core disciple since he wants more freedom? He had the job cut short for him and yet he still refuses to do it, he's selling the pills instead of submitting a small amount of them to finish the test. I'm 100% sure the author left it like that so the mc can do some face slapping. It was even more obvious when he didn't start wearing new robes when he become the sect leaders disciple. Even more reinforced when he helped the Kong guy when his cauldron was about to explode and the other guy wanted to attack him. Mc held him up with his qi manipulation (something that's rare) and yet everyone just brushed if off like it's something normal.
Not sure why everyone is spamming one-stars in the review section, because the story itself is fine. Nothing special here, but it's definitely better than one star.
The translation is okay and the updates are consistent but the actual story is garbage. The MC is forgetful, the healer class is supposedly garbage for no reason, and the numbers change or are just wrong.
If the MC wasn't a toddler it would have been a 2/5. The story is bad, made even worse by the illogical age of the protagonist. Not a single aspect of this story makes sense in any capacity, nor is it fun to read about a prepubescent child doing what he is doing here. The author needs to be institutionalized.
