Why do we keep getting **** with this sort of ultra nationalist crap in it? People love to piss on Hollywood/Americans for pulling this **** (which they do and it isn't ok) but there are waaaay too many novels on here that take this to a WHOLE new level. This and the other novel by this author are prime examples...
Due to either poor translation or editing what could be a decent novel is hard to understand and is some parts do not make sense.

The story is slow and boring. There is nothing of interest in the first ~15 chapters. The main character doesn’t have anything heroic about him. The setting is peaceful. Even the descriptions of the world lacks any conflicts to pique my interest. I feel like I’m watching a random guy stroll up a hill rather than a hero climb Everest to slay a dragon.
Once the academy arch starts, things get interesting but it’s still a cliche event that you’ll see in several “school-life” type novels. Anyways, this is just another slow-paced cookie-cutter story.
I am adding this to my library before author figure out the pairing (Yuri or not) and consider reading or not...
I've almost got a heart attack in qidian reading genderbender and then author suddenly(maliciously) add a male lead and got the married (just 4 or 5 chapters before ending and without warning a word. So after you determine the romance please add in the synopsis or release a announcement.(I believe there are other people like me waiting for this too) Thanks for the hard work tho...XD
inconsistent is how i would describe this story . Main character says something but does something else He wishes to stay out of trouble but gets himself into it. Tries to sacrifice his life for school in which he has 2 friends he has known for a week or so ? Condemns slavery and goes to burn their business yet talks about that he is weak and should stay low. Don't read unless you are into japnese white knight novels
