Ok, you can take this as a bs review since im only chp 1, but im gonna say my piece. The story so far is terrible. This random girl that everybody likes and wants to be with has taken a bet in a game, and everybody cares because the bet is to make her leave the class. So, she gets help from the class by considering being the gf of the person who wins. Forgot to mention every classmate is thirsty, and author makes an uncomfortable analogy about betting wives with respect to random girl. Ok. If that isnt a red flag for you right from the start idk what to say. Oh yeah, translation is pretty bad too.

For now, Very original and interesting engrossing. I skimmed through the prologue, but the chapters after that were extremly engaging.

I don't think the characters have any.. Well.. Characters! Not even worth a try in my opinion. I read up to chapter 6 and gave up. This might be the fastest book I gave up on..
The only saving grace is that a translation
quality till chap 6 is not bad and I'm going to say even good compared to most translations that have been up in here.
Hope translators would find a decent book next time to translate and not this one.

I'm impatient with how author didn't make things clear in this 30 chapter but i'm also hopeful for this novel because even tho he didnt make things clear about fusion story development is going quite good. I'm tired of novels with suddenly overpowered mcs getting selected so just give this a chance guys

I don't care what others think. I liked the story. The one redeeming thing about the check-in mechanic is that MCs tend to be careful as they build power. That's fine and added to some decent fire-based powers it's an interesting enough story.
an actual good story, you like to complain about systems? this story doesn't have a system so far, you hate super OP arrogant mc? this mc isn't super op arrogant mc, you hate dumb MC? this MC is smart and doesn't think with his "deck".
yes, this story is slightly a slow burn but in comparison to older cultivation stories, this isn't a slow burn at all.
it's great, there is not a system that does everything for the mc, but it builds the characters up and the side characters, and you feel the desert that is gradually opening up as you go further in the story and explore further.
the story has a lot of potential and what i like the most about the story which might be a weird one but i very much like the clan he's from as they actually try to help their younger clan members up and they deserve everything good that is happening to them.
if you are getting annoyed by another story, just read this one and the pent up annoyance will go away lol
