A amazing take on eastern fantasy with a lack of cliches and a focus on building the main characters’ foundation as well as a mastery of world building.
While the novel does become a little slow paced at the beginning, overall it is a enjoyable novel with likable, relatable characters and a main character you really connect to, root for and watch them grow as the story progresses.
This is a satisfatory ending to an amazing story

It is really nice that this MC doesn't have plot armour, is extremely evil because he chooses to abandon his humanity and at the end of the story we see him evolve from a mortal to a real god
