Okay, I need to talk about Yingjie because this girl absolutely stole my heart and I wasn't expecting it at all. In the original story, apparently she was neglected and Huai barely interacted with her. The text literally says he later considered sending his only sister away to repay debts, which is... brutal when you think about it. But here? In this rewritten timeline? Everything is different. The scene where she's tending her herb garden—this is the kind of detail that makes a character feel like a real person. She's not growing peonies or gardenias like other young ladies. She's growing centella, Huangling herb, jade bamboo. Plants that don't even flower or smell nice. Plants that require actual knowledge to tend. And she instructs her maid Qinghe with such specific care: "The newly planted centella is the most well-behaved; it's easy to keep alive. Just remember, it likes more water than usual, so water it generously..." This girl has a mind. She sees the world differently. And then Huai brings her those seeds—snow-in-summer grass, of all things—and she's so delighted she promises to brew him sour tea as a thank you. Their dialogue is so natural, so easy. She teases him about his picky taste, he teases back, and she silently notes that he prefers sweet-and-sour. That's the kind of sibling intimacy that doesn't need grand gestures. The backstory about why she got into herbs is what really got me though. When she was five and had a fever, she kept asking why bitter medicine made her better. And Changzhou's story about the fern stopping the bleeding—these weren't manufactured plot points, they were organic moments that showed her curiosity was real. Huai noticed it. He didn't force it, he just... guided her. Gave her medical texts when she could read, had Changzhou bring back easy-to-grow herbs. "She discovered a world where life could be more than embroidery, music, chess, calligraphy, and raising children." That sentence hit me like a truck. Because that's exactly what this story is doing too—it's giving these characters more than the roles the original story assigned them. And the sibling bond between Huai and Yingjie? It's the emotional anchor that makes all of this feel earned.
I was honestly confuse because of the script writing style but it was still good. The names are also unfamiliar for me but the story is well written. Keep up the good work(◍•ᴗ•◍)
From my perspective, your story seems to blend the intensity of survival games with the unpredictability of an apocalyptic setting. The concept of being thrown into a deadly system-controlled world is a strong hook! Especially for fans of high-stakes action and strategic survival. If you executed well, the your novel could offer a gripping mix of tension, character growth, and system-driven challenges. However, like many stories in this genre, its success depends on pacing, world-building, and how well it balances action with character development. More ink to you author! Keep up the great and wonderful work! Don't be pressure, I myself also in need of improvement, perseverance is a constant role to my improvement.

In summary, "Soulbound: Chronicles of a Shadow Assassin" offers a refreshing blend of fantasy, magic, and slow-burning romance. Its unique perspective and compelling character arcs make it a noteworthy read for fans of the genre.
One of the best novels I have read so far although it's still in the starting phase with only 30+ chaps this awesome novel deserves a review ---Writing Quality (10/10)The writing quality in this novel is exceptional, as expected from SleepDeprivedSloth. The novel is immersive, and free from unnecessary info dumps(only present when needed) making the reading experience smooth and enjoyable. The author demonstrates the skill of a veteran writer from already writing some of the best popular novels. The pacing is natural, and it has me completely hooked not gonna lie. ---World-Building (9/10)Although still in its early stages, the world-building shows immense potential for depth and creativity. The novel introduces a world filled with beasts and there tamers with some mention of God's too, with much more to unravel cause the MC himself doesn't know much of the world in the current chaps.---Power System (10/10)The power system in Dragon Genesis is one of the novel's main points for me. Kael, the protagonist, possesses a broken talent to transform beasts or beasteggs with even a trace of dragon bloodline into full-fledged dragons/dragoneggs. And the MC grows stronger as his loyal companions grows stronger(although there's currently only one). Of course some might have questions like will the MC only fight from the sidelines relying on his beasts and not doing anything himself I will just tell them no he will fight with them side by side. ---Character Development (9/10)Kael is a well-crafted protagonist who feels real and behaves with logic so if someone only reads novels for wish fulfilment that doesn't follow a little bit of logic this definitely not for them because there will be ups and downs, highs and lows that the MC will go through. He's also not a braid dead MC who doesn't use his brain at all which are abundant in many current novels. Although he still needs some character development but i have full trust in Sloth to pull it off beautifully. ---Update Stability (10/10) The author has great updating schedule with sometimes even releasing 4-5 chaps a day hope he makes it 10 chaps a day lol.. Jokes aside he has great updating schedule and doesn't miss out a day cause he has stocks of this chaps for emergency situations. ---Overall Impression (9.5/10)So to sum it up this novel is a complete gem of a novel with great potential. This is definitely a must-read for fans of reincarnation, fantasy, sword&magic and dragon-centric stories. So give it a chance guys I am certain you definitely like it.. ---
