I dropped this novel. The first dozen of chapters were so amazingly written (and translated) I feel truly devastated how much the introduction of the main heroine (you may as well say she shares the MC status with Gu Yu) ruined the overall atmosphere of the novel. Before the inexplicable complete infatuation he developed for a random girl I liked everything about the plot, the world building is god tier, his craft as an incense maker is very compelling, heck, even the cultivation bits he discovered as he fumbled about cluelessly were very entertaining...But, as soon as the girl-MC comes in fully into the limelight the slow and apacible feeling the MC built on the previous chapters gets totally wrecked for the sake of bringing more "youthfulness" to the story.I get she was jntended to share the spotlight with MC from the beginning. I just can't bring myself to find it compelling.I get they are supossed to complete each another. I just can't bring myself to have her in the same emotional level I have the MC in after so many chapters cheering solely for him.I get she is supposed to be the "brain" of the combo. She frequently strikes me as a snobby, arrogant young girl who doesn't really seem to treat the MC as a friend (let alone romantic partner). I even entertained the idea she is manipulating his pure heart for the sake of completing her mission, I have no real evidence but it's what it feels like to me as she has this inexplicable goodwill towards him right after they meet in person for the first time and she discovers his status as a cultivator. In the end what ruined the novel for me and made me drop it was how late the main heroine was introduced, or maybe how abruptly she suddenly became uber important and the closest confidant of the MC. It sucks i couldn't stop myself from skipping chapters to eventually drop it.
The novel is good the way of starting a novel is pretty interesting and plot of the story is very good too overall the novel is pretty decent, except the grammatical errors and word choice, but putting these aside the novel is pretty fun to read. Look forward to reading it more!
Overall good story, Op system, Op character, maybe too many girls in haram, kingdom building just getting started. I'm 68 chapters in.
This is a good book. It's excellently done. The writing quality is superb. As a fan of litrpg, one couldn't but root for the young Mia. Her character really fitted her role and the world building around her is on point. Great job.
Hidden Gem?Update Update UPDATE!Would have been a 5.0 if this wasn’t on hiatus.
Another book from the same author who wrote Runners Survivors and the Strongest Zombie Cultivator. Author-san, you're working way too hard, you should get some rest. I don't spend any coins on your works but I always read them. Ever since you wrote Runners Survivors, I've been your fan. Thank you for publishing your third book! Hope you're doing well, author-san.
Really like how this is written. The MC is not dumb as others have stated but actually really brilliant. looking forward to reading more.
This guy is an idiot, everything about him is annoying, there are few MC's that are as stupid as this guy. The novel is okay however if you don't like frustrating MC's this guy is #1 on the list to avoid. I checked many of the reviews and even skimmed ahead to see if his character improves at any point in the story, even went on to the computer translated versions to see if he acts any more intelligent but no, he's just an idiot. I've never felt so strongly that an MC should just not exist in the novel, this guy is special. I've seen people complain about mc's such as Qin Lie in Spirit Realm but at least that guy is not so brain dead.
First of, great work author, interesting storyline, and well-written chapters( spotted no grammar error) even though I just started reading, I'm already hooked, I really like how the first chapter was written, the author has done such a great job at designing the characters too. So keep up the good work author. I'm sending you my best wishes.??

I'm confused about what this is supposed to be.spoiler alert..Why have our mc who is more than a billion years old. He got reincarnated with a system that makes him do wines. In the first chapters, I felt that the story was going fast and I started to get into it but then when it came to the origin of frost wine it started to become weird. The author started to locked possible ways to the mc become stronger, not only that but his explanation are odd and made it look stupid how he could cultivate to the 9th Saint rank in the first place. The sense of the progression of the story felt odd because of the origin of frost wine, we were already introduced to a more expensive wine but then the system makes the mc work to get this cheaper one.Furthermore in the story, the store is basically ignored by the mc, the system even gives him a mission that does not contribute anything to the store but to him. His decisions are strange he doesn't want to interfere in the kingdom, but then he wants, but in chapters later he doesn't want, and then he fights a dragon and he rediscovers a hidden side of him, after that he decided that he was going to interfere. IT goes back and front. Then he wants to create a sect, this is the chapter that I'm currently and i wonder to myself, Why the fu** is this called "The immortal's Wine Store" since chapter 10-13 nothing expensive appear in the board of the store. It's like the author had an idea he didn't like where it was going and kept changing and changing it.
The translation is kinda out of place and needs to be like polished which doesnt look that hard and i hope they do fix the translation. not a bad story.
