I really liked the stoy and the world set up, the story itself is compelling. It is more interesting than the novels in which the MC has to escape/fight his relatives from his mother's/ father's side. Of course there are few cheats like he is good at everything like alchemy, blacksmith and arrays.
Overall the MC' s character is fell flushed out, in the begining he is innocent and naive but that changes as the the story continues. The fighting is good.
I would like to see more politics and betrayal in the story.
I like MC' s MOM she is badass, powerfull but she is also gentle and warm towards her family. I think the author should focus a little more on his mom.

Best novel I've seen for a while. Been disappointed in recent novels. Extremely underrated. Very very funny. Author is a HUGE troll (you will know why if you can stick through this novel this the end). Author can relate to otakus.

If this story gets dropped QI really has some problems with their system...Its bad enough a bunch of gems don't even get to get voted for.As for Review:Fun characters, with interesting background story with surprising a great plot that slowly reveals itself.
