Oh boy here we go.
This nivel would deserve 4 stars if not for the bad grammar, although light novels are not measured with the same weight as full books publications, is still a big factor.
The plot has its degree of originality, the secondary and antagonist characters are neither all smart and sly nor stupid and agraseve but instead they are a balanced combination of both, like in real life, there is not shortage of idiots that take actions based on instad gratification or pride, but there are also people that will think before acting and realize the benefits and dangers of situations, instead of throwing theur life loke idiots to the MC.
MC is not bad, just that his apathic personality is not for everyone taste, he came to the current world when he was on a mission, he had a life and purpose back home and he wants to return, so he doesn't attach much to the people in his current world, he stopped giving a F.
The world setting is quite original, yet a bit messy to understand, but I like that instead of a info dump of 5 paragraph describing the world, we get to understand it on information bits placed through the narrative, itbfeels more natural and makes sence, info dumping is something many LN and WN writers do, delivering block of info needs to be properly done or it will negatively impact your work.
Finally, update stability is, well, could be better.

The writer of this novel is a brazilian youtuber called "Zy" that was exposed a few months ago for exchanging nude pictures with an underage girl that was one of his subscribers. She was around 15.
this is amazing, I can't wait for the next chapters, I got completely sucked into it and placed myself in the shoes of the MC and I could just see everything that happened before me and it's amazing

This is one of the best books I've come across. It's not easy nailing a fantasy novel but the author did it. Drew me in completely and you have no choice but to keep scrolling. I love it so much. The language, the development spot on.

This was worth reading. The ML are litlle bit OP. And it is BL. Well I did read only the 19 chapters that are there. There is nothing graphic in them. There is a lot of world background descriptions. That was anoying.

If you came here for a JP-like fluffy, comedy, slice-of-life novel about a random dude living with a hot elf, then look no further, cause that's exactly what you'll get....... for a couple of chapters - and then it'll go all in on grim-dark despair.
Overall, Elf-story (shortform for this novel's long ass title), is really well written. It has good humor, narration, exposition, pacing, witty dialogue, and multi-dimensional characters with fleshed out backgrounds.
So, all's well that ends well?
Unfortunately, and this is my personal opinion, the story just got too dark too quickly - and theres too much of it without any sunshine (read:fluff/romance/light heartedness/happy moments/etc). This, combined with a beta, spineless, and indecisive MC (who we never get to know the name of), simply began to annoy me more and more.
I came here for a fluffy elf-chan comedy story, then I was pleasantly surprised with deeper and darker plot, but then it became tedious reading about a never evolving relationship, pitifully spineless MC, and constant dark-upon-dark developments, where the story is going from one crisis to another.
I hope that in the future plot can include some more romance, where Ash (elf-chan) and MC kiss, make up, do gf+bf stuff - and no, don't tear them apart with some stupid deus-ex machina plot machinations the next chapter to prove their love or some other random bullshit reasoning. Keep them together, and have them develop together for the fluff in the dark.
In short, fluff is good, but lately too much dark and crisis combined with a constantly spineless MC is becoming tedious to read.
