It feels empty. It feels like the protagonist is maintaining a facade, as opposed to acting naturally. I also can't help but question the practicality of certain events. Posing as a khilman, a supposed battle hardened maniac, that... decided to randomly investigate the appearance of beasts? If the idea was to avoid suspicion why even think to bring up the issue at all, especially when the protagonist insists on using the area as a hunting ground? The actions are completely contradictory, then you have him perform acts of great foresight, as though he planned such intricacies. I don't want an idiotic protagonist, but making him senselessly intelligent will only question the validity of all his actions. Why doesn't he simply have a change of clothes? Why doesn't he enter and leave the town at more reasonable hours to avoid attention? Why doesn't he utilise his makeup kit to take on an appearance or conjure a back story that perhaps gives credence to his late night shenanigans. I'm sure there will be some rationale later on that will somehow justify these actions, but I can't really understand how he can appear so shortsighted.
Sorry, the author, you have broken your promise. It has been a long time since you updated, and I am very disappointed. Waiting every day is very painful.
I've been on here for months but this is my first review, and I've gotta say this book is amazing.the story and world building is greatthe MC is smart and decisively ruthless when provoked but isn't always out for blood.overall I love this book and am praying enough people read it and enjoy it so that the author has a reason to keep writing.

the story started off very good but at some point the author started to deviate in many points before concluding them. it's interesting to add a plot so that it's not all easy and follow a straight line of development, however adding too many detours can get a little tiring.I also think that at times it is not necessary to have such a long description of some things at that moment, you can approach them little by little in a natural way and fluid so that it doesn't become a dictionary.even so, I thank you for the book, I write this review so that in future moments you can have an inspiration or something as you follow the course of the book. Even though I still laughed every chapter(this is the funniest novel on here btw, by far), I got more than I ever expected out of it!
