For me, these "Dao discussions" hurts this novel because it shows how shallow the novel is. How could the Mc be the only one "teaching" wisdom specially in an arrogant manner? It would have been better if it was like a real talk between scholars exchanging of knowledge, and not one sided "look how the Mc is smart."

Story was quite good until 80+ chapters. After that, MC started to develop complex of god and author started to cover loopholes in story.
In this novel was stated that this world is real and MC was believing in it, but, at some point, he started to treat NPC just as XP and after some analyzes, I believe he has quite serious mental issues.
Some readers believe that officers are "arrogant idiot", orders and regulations were incorrect and stuff that MC did is fine. But such readers are looking at situations only from POV of MC, and does not look beyond what author shows them.
If we analyze this novel from POV of real life army and other characters, we can see that MC is very stupid, immature and a psycho.
I love smart MC, and I am fine with him being a psycho, but when you show that some random gamer with average talent is smarter than all officers, government, etc... It is a completely different story...
Basically, in my opinion, author does not understand real life.
After chapter 80 the translation just turns into MT and is a broken mess. Otherwise it was on okay, beast taming book...................................
This is the first novel that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed since Conquerer’s Path, so I’ll give it 5 stars.
For those of you who are stuggling on deciding to read this because the main character is a pervert, I can assure you that he’s not like those virgin losers who can’t control themselves around women.
The MC is an elite and smart pervert who can act normal around women.
This book is good. The first book I've read that Is about any sort of crime fighting groups, I feel pity for his wife and for the fact that he is depressed. ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

won't lie the power system in this novel is trash at times you have some of the skills at extreme and then perfection and couple chapters later you say the mc is not at that point yet and the cultivation levels need work I'm confused with it the story it self has potential but it has a lot holding it back.
How do you lock 1800 chapters and seriously think that's okay? The book is already done, just unlock it all. I'll just go become a pirate and read it elsewhere for free.

I found it really really boring honestly, had higher hopes because of all the good reviews but it was a letdown. The pacing was too slow. Everything seemed effortless and easy. No tension or growth
