After writing 600+ chapters, I'm writing a second and final review. By then, the characters and readers understand that Achievement Junkie is simply one world within a multiverse. Yes, I said MULTIVERSE. All stories that I write will be from different worlds in different parts of the audience-dubbed "Quillverse". Some characters and intergalactic knowledge may be hinted at or shared within the many stories, but each world and plot is completely different from the others.So, if you like an unpredictable, ever-growing world and universe where characters across various stories will meet and "cross-over" to work together and/or face each other, then you're in the right place. And no, you won't technically need to read them in order. You'll be able to read the final culminating story that connects everything without reading any other stories. But you'll be missing out on many hints or call backs, as well the satisfaction of seeing all the other worlds' characters grow and join the intergalactic battle.At the moment, there are 6 stories guaranteed slots in the Quillverse, with 5 leading up to the giant, final journey to connect everything. I may add more stories to the list leading up to the finale story, but I'm not promising anything apart from the 6 stories that I've already outlined and plotted at the time of writing this review.Thank you for considering my story, and I hope you find the entertainment you're looking for. Really great novel.I generally either like op mc from the start or one where mc grows quickly, plot-wise. And this falls into the former, which is just as welcome as the latter.However, mc is still not too op, which is also appreciated. Not everyone can have a good story with an unbeatable mc like opm. therefore, I like such plots more, where there are people who can beat up mc.good job so far, waiting for more chapters
Good book. The Mc so far is smart and I like his personality. Side characters not bad at all and the story is engaging for me at least. Not much too say except it’s a good story. Ya know this week’s selection seems to be the best we had for over a month having two pretty good books. So anyway you can’t go wrong reading this, I guarantee it’s better than most of the s#it we had in trial reads before.

DISCLAIMER: this novel is not your average summoner novel. Do not read it expecting one- expect instead, a generally well written Lord of Mysteries inspired novel instead. Though not obvious at first glance, this novel bears great resemblance to one of my (and many others) dearest novels; Lord of Mysteries (formerly Lord of the Mysteries). This, to me, is not a con, since the author of TGS didn't copy the plot of LoM, but instead used it as inspiration. Drunken Tiger manages to inherit many of LoM's strong points- consistent story development, rich background and predictably an interesting plot. However, one thing this novel did not learn from was LoM's immersive character monologuing. The protagonist of this novel is detached from the reader, and character design is something this novel struggles with.The protagonist of TGS is a reincarnator from, presumably, our time. He used to be a historian (just like Klein!) but unlike Klein, he seems well versed in Chinese creation myth rather than Victorian/Tudor stuff. Xian Ping'an is the classic Chinese MC- composed, handsome and emotionless. It doesn't help that we don't get a monologue, nor do we get any hint as to what he thinks, thus contributing to the detachment factor. As for the supporting characters, I have little to say, other than this. They are very 2D. Drunken Tiger tries to have a diversified cast, but ends up with the same-old. Female characters who are all beauties, beefy males and the joker/clown character, whom in other novels is usually the fatty sidekick.Story development is decent. The novel is well paced, but the lack of monologuing and insights is a hit to the development. World background is great. You could, crassly put, call TGS "Lord of Mysteries, but Chinese instead of Victorian". What I mean by this is that while LoM focuses on a world based upon Victorian times, TGS focuses on a world where Chinese culture is widespread instead. Do NOT confuse this with nationalism. There is no nationalism within the first 40 chapters, Huaxia being a major power is a reasonable development and the author does not go out of his way to praise China. Anyway, the author integrates the creation myth of characters like Suiren and Youcha into the power system- something I find irresistibly charming, since other novels rarely dive deep into traditional Chinese culture, save for a rare few. The way summoning is incorporated into the third myth (no spoilers) is unique also, and I must say, those of you expecting anything like your cookie-cutter summoner/pet novel are in for a nasty surprise, since this novel is nothing like those- in a good way.In conclusion, readers of LoM will be constantly be hit with dejavu whilst reading. TGS is a refreshing take of the summoner genre, and is 100% worth the read.

A boring, generic novel where for some reason everyone looks down on the MC and constantly wants to humiliate him. This is a standard face-slap novel with the guise of a beast-raising novel. I generally like novels in the mystical-pet genre like Monster Pet Evolution, but this is a huge disappointment and is not worth reading. I hope it's not the picked novel for this week.

Story is great (world setting, char development, etc). But what makes it shiiiiiity for me is Cuz of translators behavior. First he censored chap 801 sexual content(and he demand of $5 USD to allow a access of half champ of sexual content). OK I get it, it's probably qudians demand to censor sexual content, but can you not been greedy to pay $5. Fuk you could have just linked it for free (as we are already paying premum [10+ spirt stone]) or just keep your ****ty mouth shut. But noooo you had to comment more on chapter 803 or 804 about how it's only for real supporter. Bitch ain't I pay for your ****ty premum chapter? LOL, we all saw your hungry greedy ass and you put chap 801 on, Cuz all people saw your true color. Well this story is all about reincarnation, transportation into another world, weak to strong, etc.The translation quality is excellent................................................Stability of updates is erratic.........................................................Story development is smooth and slow with a lot of fillers.........Character design is nice, the description of character gives one vague idea of the character... The one thing I like about author is the way he/she (can't really predict what's the gender by name Cocooned Cow ????, anyway) builds up the suspense.........................................................................................And lastly the world background..... It changes every time after approx.50-60 chapters...................................................................The novel is a lot fun. Although some pennisless vaginal (for males) and vaginaless pennial (reffering females) readers troll the author, ignore them after all, as they say shit about author and still read the novel, SO THEY ARE ACTUALLY EATING THE SHIT THEY CREATED.
