Honestly this is one of the better books in my opinion since he doesn’t start off strong. Simply put this story and character are being built overtime which is amazing. Good job author keep it up
Water is the central symbol in this section, and it's working on multiple levels. Cao Lingyun falls into the lake — water as danger, as death, as the boundary between her past life and her present one. She can't swim, which is significant. In her previous life, she was drowning in circumstances she couldn't control. Now, reborn, she still can't swim, but she's learned to survive. Zhou Hongbai pulls her out, but she's already pulling away emotionally. The water saved her body but she's trying to escape the very person who saved her. Then there's the shoe. She deliberately drops one embroidered shoe as she runs out, a calculated move to prove her innocence and frame Zhang Yachu. But shoes are also symbols of the path we walk. She's leaving one behind — her old self, the self that would have trusted the wrong people, the self that would have let Zhou Hongbai get hurt again. The annulment letter itself is a powerful symbol. Paper that could destroy a marriage, reduced to shreds. But what's left of their engagement after this? The fact that Zhou Hongbai tears it rather than signing it suggests he refuses to let go — which is both romantic and deeply problematic given that Cao Lingyun is using him as a pawn in her revenge. The deeper theme here is about cycles. Cao Linglan says it directly: "No matter how many lifetimes she goes through, as long as she is there, Cao Lingyun must be made to wish for death but be unable to die." But Cao Lingyun is trying to break the cycle by protecting Zhou Hongbai, even if it means destroying their relationship in the process. Is she breaking the cycle or just repeating it in a different form?
Mc is too childish and the gun being sentient was a terrible idea ngl , even so the personality of the weapon and the mc is way too childish to make this story enjoyable

I have read many books few have reached this caliber. I am writing this as thanks to the Author for producing this masterpiece. How this book is not talked about more is beyond me. Do not be turned away by the length as each chapter is full to the brim with action and love. The author goes above and beyond with character development and foreshadowing, and treats each character with respect. Life long friends are made and lost, love is found and cherished. The book tells the life of a genius and his trials. He is not overbearing or materialistic, but not naive and childish. If you like fighting and action there is plenty, power developemeant and traning too. This cultivation/magic novel is among the caliber of Supreme Magus and Demon sword. Read and enjoy this work of art!
Best cultivation novel I've read it has good power levels and time actually passes for the mc unlike the other novels where the mc is like 20 and is stronger than 1000 year olds.Unique story about the first cultivator never seen anything like thatIf you like high power levels and somewhat apathetic mcAnd just a well written story then this is definitely it for you and no romance.
urggg when will the war end? its been going on since ch.1306 and it already stretched pass 200+ ch. that last card/hand never seem to end. the updates are consistent which is great but when can we move on from this war between blood clan and celestials? don't get me wrong i love the book i always look 4 updates every day. i just want a new development instead of the ingoing war.
