Mercury18
I was really enjoying this novel at the beginning. The mc was not swayed by beauty and while it is expected that love interests would come along, the way the character developed is terrible. Every female that is stronger than him plays with him like he is a toy. He has not backbone, helps women who scheme against him, and just caves in to anything females want. He forgives females pretty much instantly, while a male would get the most humiliating treatment.If you are looking to read a novel with one of the biggest simps on this platform, this is for you. Otherwise, avoid this like the plague. This review is at chapter 188.
@Ch. 69; You will read paragraphs upon paragraphs of how strong the attack and how grievous the wounds are, yet no one fucking dies. It's the most frustrating thing in the world. The story is kept at a standstill because the enemies are being protected by plot armor. Everyone has protagonist correction. When everyone is a protagonist, no one is. Now the story goes nowhere.There was also this random as **** traveller?? Literally appeared out of nowhere and gave him literal plot armor. So many plot holes and plot armors. If that is your type of story then read on.
at around chapter 230 the story gets completely ruined, the story suddenly changes and everything makes no sense anymore, there's so many missing plot points, things get mentioned that never hhappened, characters go missing like they never existed in the first place. characters that have been in the story since beginning suddenly change and are unrecognizable anymore. for example the first disciple was a mortal cultivator which doesn't have any realms and doesn't rely on physiques, but then all of a sudden the eldest disciple has this heaven defying physique and he's also apparently in Emperor realm. and then they talk about how all of his disciples are in Emperor realm, which doesn't make any sense because before the sudden change there was only 1 disciple in Emperor realm, and on top of that if other had reached that realm the Mc shouldn't have known because they've been in a completely different world the whole time and there was no indication that they ever went back to the main world, so it should be impossible for them to have ever seen the other disciples let alone know their realm. The whole story is all messed up and ruined, and I thought it would fix itself after a few chapters but no, I went through over 70 chapters after the mess up, and it's still not fixed and I doubt it will ever be. So I'm dropping this story, and I recommend you all to not even bother reading it because if you actually enjoy it and you reach halfway you will just be completely disappointed and drop it anyways. Don't waste your money reading it
Ok translation quality however the story is... Terrible. I have no clue how could this book possibly be so highly rated compared to the other books ranked in their 30s, it is beyond my comprehension, really.I have some doubt that the MC was a transmigrator with a job prior coming to this world, he acts nothing like how an ***** should, he literally does ZERO planning on anything. You'll understand if you read how he uses the system he has, the most annoying to me is that he rarely does anything specific on his own but random stuff happens to him.Plot... horrendous and super cliché, it is not even lazy writing at this point. It was SO cliché that you know he will be white knight-ed on every occasion possible; his "friends" only exists to be bullied and cry so it shows how RIGHTEOUS MC is. MC's plot armor is so THICK and comparable to [Monster Paradise] he'll basically never be threatened by anything etc.Characters... Actually there are no characters besides MC; the MC himself already being an one dimensional character his side-kicks of a grandfather is already 0.5D and everybody else is 0.1D for they, in the event that something is happening exists to either be there to sneer at our 1D MC or repeat "This..." after each useless descriptive sentence in unison.I think I've never read so many cliche at this point in just so few chapters. If [Monster Paradise] was my bottom book before, this book successfully replaced it being at the very bottom as, not only does it replicate clichés but RECYCLES THEM;
These types of stories are my favorites. I hope that it will deliver ? ............................ ... . . . .. . . ... . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. .. . .
This Novel is just OK, it's not so great as other readers meantios as. There are messed up sentences, if there are no Novels to read this will cover your want. Not too exciting story, storytelling us just ok, world development is fine, character development is also just so so and ya overall the whole Novel is just OK to read, don't have too much expectations as this is just OK to read Novel.
So far so good. A little simplistic but enjoyable.
The story was my favorite until the author decided that he was bored with the story and ended it in one chapter with plenty of story left to go in my opinion.
It's already obvious to anyone that this novel is going to be full of nationalism, I'm going to stop here so I don't waste my time..............
Author here.... If you have any suggestions or corrections for this novel, feel free to leave comments or review!I'll make sure to take your words to heart...! That's all!
The novel is good really good i thought this novel is gonna be bad and complicated so i thought i will only read 5 chapters if i don't get interested i will stop reading it...but i only finished reading two chapters and i already liked the novel.This is worthy to read.
If your looking for a good romance and don't have a problem with the girl being the lead in the relationship I would definitely recommend it. This book quickly got me hooked, I have not noticed any errors in the writing and the character development is amazing. I am currently on ch 45 and my only comment is I hope that the author doesn't get so caught up in Sam's character growth they forget about Lena(this has not been a problem so far)
