The ML challenges the norms of the Alpha/Omega system, driven by his past experiences, and ultimately seeks to eliminate the impact of pheromones. The MC grapples with gender identity issues initially.
The story may initially frustrate with the MC's passivity, but she evolves and becomes more assertive later on. Their relationship starts off rocky and intense, but blossoms into a loving, equal partnership with plenty of heartwarming moments. Unlike many ABO stories, dominance dynamics aren't prominent; they respect and support each other without resorting to dominance/submission roles. Pregnancy isn't a theme, allowing for individual growth and shared adventures.
The plot keeps readers engaged with its dynamic settings, adventure, political intrigue, and suspense. The antagonist and supporting characters add depth to the story. The ML, on a quest for revenge, finds himself falling for the MC despite his initial aversion to Alphas. He关怀备至 towards her, despite being perceived as a cold genius, which is a sweet surprise.
The revelation that the MC isn't the original Wang Luan creates opportunities for learning and cultural exchange, with the MC teaching the ML her native language and customs. The translation is quite accessible, making the story enjoyable for English readers.

What a delightful discovery! Absolutely fantastic! The writing is exceptional. I can't believe I overlooked this before, thinking it wasn't worth my time. Luckily, I stumbled upon it during my search for a leisurely read. It's evident that they were made for each other – their love unparalleled. The author's subtle hints create an enchanting sense of destiny between them. I particularly appreciate the foreshadowing; it's masterfully done. QY truly deserves to be cherished and loved, she's a gem. I shudder to imagine what might have happened if TY hadn't mustered the courage to pursue her.

I hste harems but I findnit a shame for novels not to have at least some smount of romantic subplot (as in mc gets married or sth)
