What I love about this section is how the stakes keep multiplying like dominoes. Let me count them because there are so many layers: Layer one: the silver. Xiang Dagen claims he lost it. His family says he's lying. If he can't produce it, he loses face, he loses authority, and he loses whatever fragile respect he had left in this family. But we as readers are already suspicious — the timing is too convenient. Layer two: the sold granddaughter. This is the big one. Ten taels. Two buyers coming to the village. If Pear Blossom was actually sold, then this isn't just a family dispute — it's a crime. And the buyers are coming. The suspense here is suffocating because we know they'll arrive soon and the grandmother's lie will either be exposed or the girl will be taken away forever. Layer three: the military service obligation. Xiang Dagen has served twenty years and his family still wants him to keep going. But now he's starting to ask questions — why is it always his branch? Why don't the second and third sons serve? The stakes here are about his son Daniu potentially having to take his place. A child who is still too young. Layer four: the marriage. Twenty years of separation, years of silence, years of his wife suffering alone. The conflict between them isn't angry — it's grief. And grief is way more dangerous because it's honest. The author is stacking these conflicts so that when they all collide, there's no way this family stays intact. The question isn't whether it will break — it's how badly.
Give it a try guys it just have 4chapters but every chapter actually gets better each time..Mixture of Comedy and Tension is just perfect and Mc is so Relatable?
This novel perfectly blends technology, ambition, and the struggle for power. The main character’s journey is both inspiring and thrilling. Every chapter leaves you wanting more. Highly recommended for those who love intelligent and strategic storytelling!

Seamless author here to give myself five stars✌️

yyyoo!!! the stories are getting better and better ❤❤❤❤❤ character development tho ❤❤❤?❤
I came for the CEO trope, but I stayed for the humor, the chemistry, and the addictive storytelling, Ava and Adrian’s interactions are pure gold. The push and pull, the snarky comments, the undeniable tension it’s all done so well, The pacing is perfect, and every chapter leaves me wanting more. The banter between them feels so natural, and I love how their relationship evolves over time. Definitely a top-tier Webnovel romance.
Masterpiece is the only word to describe this story. It has some of the highest quality writing I have ever seen, with some of the best written characters I have ever read. I only wish the genre was more for males because wow this is amazing.

I wasn't into a system theme, but the author made me. Loved how descriptive his writing skills are! I don't know if it's his writing or my imagination has gotten better, but damn! it didn't feel anything like reading a book. It felt like watching a movie. Hats off to the author for this one!!
