Great book to read and loved it but u left us hanging.....abruptly
I have mixed feelings about this series; it's not entirely love nor hate. There's a moment I appreciated when Hajime showed resilience and became more determined after escaping the Orcus Labyrinth. However, his character development took a turn when he returned to Heiligh and faced the God Apostle – he softened and seemed naive once again. The scene that irks me the most is when he brings along Kouki and others.
This novel excels in portraying the protagonist's actions and unawareness of her seductive nature, likening her to a pet. It takes on a unique twist, being gay, toxic, and focusing on a character who isn't simply survival-driven. The main character's behavior stems from her past life as a man, where she unintentionally mimics the actions of her female friend, assuming there are no LGBTQ+ individuals in the medieval setting. While her manipulation skills might seem impressive, they become problematic in a modern context. The story also delves into themes of abuse and contains morally ambiguous content. The bond between the mother and daughter stands out, though.
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel as a casual reader. The romantic scenes are well-written. The main characters are sweet and likable. I even enjoyed the quite intricate worldbuilding (I might have enjoyed the worldbuilding more than the romantic scenes, but that’s because I’m a nerd).
I understand why some people might be disturbed by certain early events in the story, but I really recommend that new readers give it a try. You might enjoy this novel as much as I did.
However, I might not be able to finish this novel because, for a few months, I have been getting a 403 error message every time I tried to open the website. This happens with every single page on Watashi wa Sugoi Desu's site, but not with others. I haven’t seen anyone having the same problem, but I don’t know what’s going on.
All in all, it’s a good novel with a great translation, but I’m sad I might never read the ending unless it gets licensed in my country.
I noticed multiple comments have been mass deleted. That might be the reason.
I was joking lol. I'll try it when I have time
I tried giving this another go since I had nothing else to read. And after reading just a few chapters the mc's arrogance just soared through the sky. I can get behind the fact that he never actually tried hard enough to get stronger even though he was in a desperate situation with his mother being sick and his father being missing and all. But right when he saw a tiny little bit of progress he literally went ahead and said " I am someone even the heavens must look up to. How dare I be controlled by a mere beast instinct". After reading that I just gently closed my eyes and the only word that was screaming through my mind was cringe. It makes me wonder are these authors a different breed than us? Just why? I don't know if anyone will agree with me or not but I feel like the one thing that you must make sure if you want any story to be successful is by making a good main character. But the author failed in that miserably. PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME IF I SHOULD STILL CONTINUE.
Here we go?
Does god of mischief give him any other skill aside from clone?

Well, you're right ?
From the comments and reviews I know this is good but damn do I wish It had thousand chapters like My House of Horrors.
U dropped it ? U read the hero returns and ranker who lived twice? Those are corean novels with a tower... Basically the same novel, big disappointment for me, same gods, same pantheons, stats were basically useless etc. Does this novel have those characteristics too?
