Second review, because why not? I've read pass 100 chapters already. First, the influence of the novel is immense for me may it be for better or for worse. I like it despite its discrepancies, so the review might not be helpful for the other readers. As I said in my last post, I'm a friend of the author and I'm a little bit biased about wanting him to succeed in his writing career. (I'm writing the review for other readers to know the charm, because Coffee has all my input already.)Writing Quality: 4 StarsHe said it himself in the aux chapter, what he uploads are the first drafts and would only even edit the free chapters. I find his words skewed, but I understood when he said he'd probably edit his premium chapters as well when he's done with the four-month guaranteed payment. Straight four months, one chapter daily is tough for his laziness, so I'm cutting him the slack. So far, I enjoyed the chapters he sends each and every day. I haven't gotten used of the recurring monologues, but they're all compensated by the low-key talking-and-walking signature happening between characters (the scenes are mostly refreshing to read), and what I like best are the surreal mind reading shenanigans. I've never read a book before that's so out of the norm. Of course, it has to be done somewhere before, but the way they're being executed are cleaner than the action scenes. Truly a wonderful story with a nice world background.The MC concentrating only in a single way (sword) of comprehension is what looks orderly logical and interesting to read.The comprehension of the sword in different ways and with many fusions truly make me to anticipate what would he reach at the pinnacle and in what way. really looking forward to it.
Don't get your hopes up. This gem is hollow inside and here is why. I have read it entirely. 500 hundred chapters of awesomeness and then it spiraled into never ending repeating similar sentences, situations, tropes and same mold forgettable useless characters. 1.Romance is extremely badly incorporated into the story. Doesn't help when the main girl is nothing but a bland puppet with no personality used to move the plot. 2. MC goal ends to be with each next arc to get stronger and to create waves, one bigger than the other, his reputation MUST be illustrious. 3.He is the chief of lucky - 7-chosen lottery, everything of benefit comes handily to him just because. 4.Others exist to be impressed and to worship him. 5.Action chapters later are waving sleeves and all powerful snorting and many things that don't make sense. 6.Mc personality explained over and over again as so good and scholarly like, but his actions are in fact the exact 180. 7.Translator gripe- the repeated CAPS monologues are not the least bit shocking or interesting. It was the best story for me up to when he gets at Yuanyung stage. I realised after a few arcs that Author got run out of ideas and the story got noticeably bad. I think it as Overwhelmingly underwhelming story, because close to 1/3 of it was really awesome,even thought it had many problems whixh the story made up for, but overall my hope got crushed and I just read it to pass time, but it's really horrible.
