i am in chapter 22 right now and what i can say is that the mc is a man that don't care about using others to reach his goals
but what i don't like is that when it come to his grandparents he become like a kid who hasn't seen the world like cmon
Imagine the man who lived millions years and slept with countless beauties to blush with the mere mentioning about a girl in front his grandmother
and he get very emotional with them and that's fine but at least act like your age man
Anyway I am only on chapter 22 and so I hope he won't keep acting like a kid with them
That's only my opinion if you don't like it you can ignore it just thought about writing it
other than that the story seems interesting and so far i liked it.
i will read to the latest chapter soon and i will write another review

Yeah, gonna be honest, I can't tell if the author of this story is terrible or if the translation is just terrible. Maybe both? The story says one thing then like a paragraph or two later it will contradict itself. If it was a one time thing it would be whatever, but this seems to happen constantly throughout the story so far. I didn't even finish all the trial chapters because it was so bad.
Pretty sure some of it is on the translation as I think a character randomly changed names. It's my first time seeing a scoreboard concept so I guess it has that going for it, but that's not really enough to make it passable.

The novel is so unique and by unique i meant the plot, the characters and the world, everything felt so fresh when i was reading.
The interaction between the MC Chace and the girls were so funny especially during the first few chapters. I am not a native english speaker but i came across no grammar mistakes or weird sentences. It was simple yet gripping.
I hope the author release more and more chapters because this is a hidden gem.

Aight, so as of chapter 36, here's what I think, without spoiling the book:
Plot:
Great so far. I'm really looking forward to see how this one is going to turn out. Will Conrad go through with his original plans, or will his experiences in this new life sway him off of the path of destruction? What conflicts will affect his future?
Characters:
So far the characters are great, I can't wait to learn more about them. Ascent isn't just developing the main character, I can see him setting up intricate backstories for side characters as well.
Worldbuilding:
We don't know a ton about the world Conrad is residing in yet, and his rate of learning new things about this new world feels natural. There is no big info dump or tiresome explanation.
Overall review:
9/10
The only book I've ever rated as a 10 is Lord of Mysteries, and this one isn't yet long enough to compare it to that masterpiece. However, if Ascent keeps up the great writing and publication rate, I think that this book could end up in my list of top 5 books.
