Hi, so I've already read this in on the Chinese site a few years back, and I was pretty surprised by this story. overall, this is a story about a guys who gets transmigrated to another realm, when he spontaneously combust due to his Nine Yang bloodline. In this new realm he is trapped in a glacier with a powerful expert who was tricked by his enemies. This powerful expert teaches him cultivation, and due to appreciation of his talent (and because he is about to die soon), he betrothes his only daughter to the MC. The story progresses, and no surprise, the daughter doesn't want to marry and is pretty repulsive of the entire idea. The reason this story stands out is due to the unique setting of the world, (there are multiple realms who are just part of the same world), the fact that the MC doesn't just sail through everything due to plot armour, and the fact that MC actually makes use of his earthly knowledge in some situations. The ending is also pretty good (which is rare for a Chinese novel) and doesn't feel too rushed or forced. Also, the consequences of situation has a unique impact on the world, which I haven't seen before. Some caveats in this novel, are the somewhat 2D characters and romance targets, typical arrogant face smacking, and other typical Chinese Wuxia troves that you'll find in almost every other Chinese novel. If you get beyond this, you'll find that NYSS has a pretty unique setting and a fulfilling romance.Overall this is one of the more memorable story that I've read - so I'd definitely recommend this.
Hoping for more updates soon. Though I am impatient...UPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATESUPDATES

This is an incredible story. The elements that form it are humble, and the archetypes that drive it forward are familiar. Yet as you read on, you watch the author take these ****** pieces, and give them a life and beauty rarely seen in any novel. The characters are interesting and layered. The world and society are well thought out, and well expressed - this isn't the tale of a shapeless protagonist slashing his way through every challenge. The MC is but part of a grander story, one significant piece among many, each striving and struggling to accomplish their own goals and motivations. There is a richness to both the character development and world building. Even as you recognize each familiar archetype, you come away *satisfied* by the fullness and depth the author fills in each element. Parts of the story are pure poetry, written with true artistry and a sublime sense of storytelling. This is one of those rare works that make you feel like you have stepped into another world, where the backdrop is more than just painted facades and the side characters are more than a handful of lines on a page. The author manages to capture that fleeting, powerful feeling - the impossible belief - that if you could somehow peek into each alleyway, sidestreet, side-story or side-character.... you would find a fully realized life, moving and acting on its own.Way of Choices captures the essence of what makes a choice interesting. Namely, that we all want things, and sometimes getting those things means giving up something else. Every character in the story wants /something/, and all of them - not just the MC - have difficult or costly choices to make.As a reader, I hope you choose to give this story a chance. I believe you will find that beneath the familiar surface, waits something that is altogether special.
Its all funky, for some reason half the chapters still are chinese, everyother bit is either english or Mandarin, whether this is intentional or not, i have no clue.
Are you fucking kidding me?! 38 spirits stones to unlock the last chapter! YOU FU***** THIEF!!!!
If you read this novel , Be preper for dumbest villain ever.
Just for remembering that Iowa existBecause almost no one ever talks about it compared to other states that have well known business and land marks
AWARENESS!!I don’t know why people are into these types of “fantasies”. Fantasies lead to desire which could lead to action. This novel basically revolves around the idea of rape. Doing it without their consent is rape. Doing it when they are under influence is rape. And drugging them or consciously acting upon the decision to make someone do what you will by force or underhanded tactics is rape.Even when people say “yes” when they are drunk, they don’t have the capability to think properly at that moment and is not an actual consent. It’s still considered rape. You all probably thought of women when I was talking about rape in the previous comments, but know that men do get raped too. You read the previous comments and immediately thought, “gay”. You’re wrong, it is not only the men who do the raping, but also women. Men could also be the victim of rape especially when they are under influence, and it is done almost always by women. And they might not even know it because they wouldn’t even be able to feel the sensation from their peenis in the morning. They’ll just find out that some girl is pregnant with their child. They could even be blackmailed into being the father of their “family” by saying that he would be sued for rape if he doesn’t accept. It’s different for the women victims as people would even look down upon them and call them derogatory terms. They would even be hated because they want to or got an abortion of the rapist’s invasive gene cell. They are hated and pressured into becoming the “mother” of their rapist because it’s their blood child. If you don’t see nothing wrong with that, why don’t you eat with the knife that stabbed you in the eye? It’s okay, it’s your blood anyways(Also prove me wrong but a lump of cells isn’t a child. It’s like comparing a newly laid egg to a chick. I understand that chicks may be brought forth from it as time passes, but that is no chick when it is just a yolk. If you still try to save those lump of cells, you might as well try to save the semens that couldn’t reach the eggs)Anyways, rape is something that people should stay away from doing as it is one of the most inhumane thing that could happen to a person which I personally consider as even worse than death because they would have to live through it.
