Honest reviews are here..[Spoiler Alert]It is a story about MC who transmigrated into a body that was untalented as a normal person, and then, he got his golden finger, "the system.." This is a typical Wuxia novel where the character here easily offended, the sudden interference of young master who want to kill MC without a reason, and bla bla bla..You would see around Ch.3, MC cultivation iump from 1st major realm into the 8th major realm right away..1. The Physical Body realm (Ch.1)2. The Dragon-Elephant realm3. The Divine Treasure realm4. The Sea of Bitterness realm5. The Wheel of Life realm6. The Dao Palace realm7. The Paramita realm8. The Divine Transformation realm (Ch.3)9. The Heavenly realm (Ch.90+)10. Origin Return realm11. Tribulation Tanscendence realm12. Mahayana realm13. Deva realm14. Myth realm15. Grotto-Heaven realm16. Innate Sky Realm17. Heavenly Cycle realm......[Unverified realm] :??. Great Emperor realm??. Heaven Emperor realm??. True God realm??. True Celestial realm??. Celestial King realm??. Immortal Emperor realmThe author only list out ONCE, and if you don't remember which realm is higher and how high the rank is, you would be confused when reading it.. The cultivation name is quite unique and different from others' wuxia or xianxia type of novel, which makes it harder to remember..When you see MC jump into the 8th major realm right away, you might think this MC has a fast-paced growth progress, but it is not.. MC slowly increases the cultivation level. He rises one minor realm at a time and no longer has a huge jump cultivation rank.. For example, at Ch.100, MC is still at 9th major realm.. Yes, he only increased one major realm after 100 chapters..For the 1st 50 chapters (Ch.4 - Ch.50+), all MC enemy or opponents have lower realms than himself.. Mostly, at 5th or 6th major realm and some are 7th major realm and only a few at 8th major realm, same as MC..After Ch.50, MC goes to a greater world (temporarily) where he can see how weak and low his cultivation is.. Then, after returning back, he started to meet a powerhouse who was a lot stronger than him (13th or 14th major realm)..There is a huge major realm difference between MC and his opponent.. MC is also getting more and more arrogant as the story progresses.. MC talent is really pathetic.. He is at 8th major realm, and he has a friend who is at 9th major realm.. After a few months, MC is still at the 8th major realm (MC only increases one minor realm :early, middle, late, peak, prefection) while his friend is at 11th major realm (increase 2 major realm)..There are many regions in this world, and MC regions are the weakest.. Many MC opponents also have much much much higher realm than him.. And by slowly increasing the minor realm one at the time, kinda make it look boring and is the reason I stopped reading..MC system is quite strong, but he needs to pay the appropriate price to use the system.. If MC gets 300k Fate Point (FP), the system will ask for 250k FP.. If he gets 1 million FP, the system will ask for 1 million FP.. If MC gets 100 million FP, the system will ask for 70 million FP.. So basically, the author would let MC have too much point..I also don't like how the author makes MC behaviour look like.. Sometimes, MC acts like a stupid person.. He only has one plan, and if it fails, that's it.. He can only hope for best.. Then, some people try to sell exorbitantly to MC, which is 100k middle divine stone for a corpse, and he agrees without any care..Sometimes, MC left his enemy running away so his enemy could bring more people for MC to kill (MC wants more corpse).. The things got from sacrifices the corpse is random.. It can be treasure, fate point, years of cultivation, pills, weapons, techniques, skills, and so on.. And mostly, MC gets weapons.. It is very rare that the MC gets anything that will increase his cultivation level..And the story got more and more absurd and ridiculous.. The math does not make sense. The cultivation level does not make sense. The behaviour of this novel character does not make sense, and a lot more.. I stopped reading after reaching around Ch.300++..
100% recomendado, buena historia, ya quiero saber porque asesino a miles de millones en la tierra y como obtuvo su poder, sigo escribiendo porque no me deja publicar
First of all, the translator is doing an amazing job with this novel, even as the author twiddles his thumbs and churns out filler after filler. The updates are consistent, but even the rapid releases aren't able to distract you from this story's failures. Let's descend in order of ratings. The character design is well done- for the main character, that is. It's really endearing to see him grow and steadily exercise more power, considering his *****, pitiful origins. However, his arrogance- or perhaps chuunibyo- is used to awe and inspire those around him, but it most frequently turns into a joke, a poor attempt at comedic relief. Speaking of chuunibyo, there's a heavy Japanese influence in this novel. There's nothing wrong with that, but directly plagiarizing characters from other anime, such as Saber, One-Punch Man and Hellscythe is a sad substitution for actual character development, and really demonstrates the author's lack of originality, which is further exacerbated by his terrible pacing, the overarching flaw that neuters this story's potential for growth.I mentioned that I would descend in order of ratings, but I merely gave character design 2 stars. Why is that? That's because the story doesn't consist of only the main character. The main character has a few potential love interests, and anyone caught up on translated releases will be very familiar with them.Unfortunately, the fatal flaw strikes again. I ask you, readers, after the tower arc, how many of you are still conscious of the supporting characters that were introduced in the first "half" of the novel? Perhaps if you binge read, you might have some semblance of their personalities, but the tower arc, as a means of isolating the elites from the rest of the world, has utterly disconnected the reader from the rest of the world. We're not talking a quick arc either- we're speaking about hundreds of chapters, with maybe 50% of it filler and the author simply bloviating about whatever he wants to extend the word count. Is it strange to consider character interactions as part of the character design category? Honestly, the interactions are consistent, but of course they would be- the author has simply stole premade characters and dropped them into his story. The characters he designed himself are your typical wuxia cultivators. He hasn't just stolen characters either. There's an implicit ridiculousness to this story- if you really think about it, you might become dizzy. For example, don't let it bother you that the main character wields Shu's ability from Guilty Crown, as well as something akin to the eyes of death from Tsukihime, as well as Excalibur from Fate, with another recent addition being the Hulk's physical power up. That our mutated chimera of a character is driven by a ***** personality of straightforward foolhardiness of nigh idiocy is no comfort- his transfer to this world might have neglected parts of his brain. There's not much to say about development- there is practically none after he enters the tower, and what was established before will quickly be forgotten. The author provides random tidbits of history to pad his word count, but instead of explaining the rest of the world besides China, he'll focus on something inconsequential to churn out another filler. Oh? Did I not mention the origin of the title? Don't worry, you won't see much of the "absolute choice" system anyway- it simply acted as a method to introduce comedic relief, but its output was cringe and a prelude to the author's questionable state of mind- honestly, we should've recognized his insensitivity before reading this far.The author alludes to the fact that he recognizes his pacing is messed up, personifying himself into his characters and speaking dialogue that's essentially throwing shade at our "impatience". He has deluded both the readers and himself into believing that his chapters of full of substance and vibrant with content, a false sentiment borne of his arrogance. If you read the comments, you'll get the information you need in 1-3 sentences, as opposed to the author's long winded rambling. Don't have any high hopes for this story- the 4 and 5 star ratings are from an era long past. How can a story reform when the author won't? It is pure idiocy to expect anything from this fool. For the brothers stuck in a limbo of anticipation and then deflation upon seeing a chapter of nonsense, I feel you, and I beseech the newer readers, on the fence- don't read this story.
Is mc a cuck or people is just "talking"? I mean, the woman he loves and they are together sleeps with other men, i want to know this before reading
Quite tough to judge this novel, its obvious that many things are lost in the translation, especially in the first chapters, when many important info, mainly about the world setting, are not well-fully presented. Having said that, the translation quality has improved a lot, its actually not bad now. Anyway the concept is really interesting and well written, the novel has assimilated most wuxia elements and used them in a "modern"-apocalyptic world. The world build has soooo much potential, there is humour, decent romantic relationships, ruthless-kind mc, actually almost everything. Its really sad that another great novel of chen dong is undermined, this one by the translation in the first chapters and perfect world by its slow beginning and "abrupt" change of mc's character.
At first it was good the idea was spending money yet in the later chapter the main essence is gone with the system bring it back... The money slapping to defeat the enemy..
ok so...1.Translation Quality, not the greatest but not bad a lot of mixed up names and also wrong words used in some sentences etc but still better than MTL2. Stability of updates, of updates so far are ok but also not that great and i say that because we get 2 chapters a day which is good but those chapters are 12 hrs apart which might as well feel like 1 chapter a day.3. Story Development, so far story's pacing is pretty good that's all.4. Character Design, the characters in the story so far are good and not as annoying as other stories.5. world background, as of chapter 80 not much is known of the world we know of very few locations and those are only briefly mentioned. 6. as for why i gave this novel a 1 star is to more effect the overall value that it currently has, we got people just throwing out 5 stars without actualling judging the novel etc so i think people need to throw out 1 stars to counter said people that think everything is gold
I liked it at like 1-5 chapters but when i cam to fighting and smart desicions MC fucking do some stupid things,is that even smart? And wtf is with this rating? 4.4 stars? And 400+ raters? I call bull****!!!!
It's a slow-paced, slice-of-life, system novel that's somewhat cooking-centric since the MC hails from a family of chefs but also incorporates things outside of cooking (look at title). The MC is also hardworking, and the system isn't that big of a cheat. If you're looking for a fast-paced novel and an OP MC that quickly conquers the entire world's taste buds, then this isn't for you.I really hope that this will be accepted into the voting pool because everything about this novel just fits my reading preferences. I don't want it to get removed like Plague Doctor (which I also really liked).
It's something different from what i read but definitely like it . Few Grammatical errors here and there but the story is super good to keep on reading .I recommend it to everyone
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
