perfect novel if you like psychological and academy categories with a masterpiece of a story
Translator quality seems quite weak, reoccuring problem where boss-grade and leader-grade are both translated into leader grade leading to sentences such as
"...as a leader-class gene, the increase was several times greater than that of a leader-class gene"
Also an repeating issue where the drop color for elite-class drops and boss-class drops are both described as a green in spite of being supposed to have different giving cases such as the main character receiving 2 white drops, 1 green drop and 1 green drop and sentences talking how a green drop is much rarer than a green drop.
Aside from this like a few others have already commented there are reoccuring problems with he/she him/her.
The translation desperately needs an editor, proofreader or a more qualified translator to not be jarring. I'm frankly not convinced this isn't just moderately edited MTL.
Presuming there was a swap in translator at I'd guess 40 chapters because whoever did the author's note translation in ch1 actually translated the grade terms properly for everything and whoever took over the translation doesn't seem to be using the same glossary since they use different translations for the different levels making it extremely hard to follow along due to inconsistency in the translation.

I've read this on scribblehub and what can I say aside from its good.
Nice to see it spreading to other platforms.
Looking forward to your other works.
Frankly it is well written. But it's filled with the typical inconsistency of a generic Chinese novel. The guy, he is three years old but he travels around the empire with his so-called master. Tell me even with Chinese novels which master does this. Usually it's around the age of 10 but hey...Example: I was born in the biggest empire on the continent, a few chapters later we learn that he is barely above average. Basically, you should expect this kind of inconsistency. And also it's the kind of story where every place the protagonist passes, there is a problem that suddenly it's solved by his system so it's the kind of novel that is really average. And even this note is because we can easily find worse.
This is just another trash novel. It's one of those stories written by authors who want to make quick cash. There is a lack of common sense, quick tempered MC , dimwits of other characters among other other features of trash novels. Plus it has one thing I truely hate,a combination of technology in martial world.
Great just great the lack of quantity for chaps sucks but the quality is great nonetheless
overall, I have greatly enjoyed the first 100 chapters. New experience seeing the MC deal with his heart demons. most novels mcs don't even have this issues. I feel I've over invested into a story I will be dropping due to coin costs for novels these days. if you can afford to, give this book a chance. 103 free chapters to try and draw you in!!
From bread to beer to insulin, yeast is essential to producing things we take for granted. This lighthearted science book aimed at advanced K-5 students shows the valuable role yeast plays, and how using our fungi little friend in baking helped enable the Rise of Humanity.

Read through about Ch. 105 so far. Great internal consistency in this story, and shockingly, a MC who is actually pretty smart, has a reason and motivation for his actions, and doesn't completely shun help when he needs it.
Anyway, MC voluntarily joins a VRMMO death game in order to earn money for an operation (on himself), which gives him essentially a reason to risk his life. The VRMMO is set up into a series of self-contained missions, at the end of which he is sent back into a hub to prepare for the next mission. While theoretically he can log out, essentially he has no life worth speaking of in the real world and he needs to power up quickly to save his life, so for the purposes of the MC's story it's essentially very similar to VRMMOs where characters are trapped in the world.
It's a little distressing he doesn't try to powergame and min/max his build given the free availability of a player trading system with very minimal account-bound items, he just kind of rolls with the skills he picked up in his newbie mission despite exponentially increasing costs to level them - despite their exceeding cheapness he hasn't ever bought a single basic skill despite the basic skill level at the lowest level is probably the equivalent of a very highly skilled normal person - basic skill in dagger and sneak has him OHKO assassinating street thugs by the dozen, and basic skill in light arms gives him one-shot headshot mastery of all light firearms. And he's never so much as checked to see what kind of skills he can pick up.
Which might be more reasonable, except he's intentionally soloing missions instead of working in teams, so he has enormous skill gaps he doesn't really realize, and there's frankly quite a bit of plot armor that keeps him from being killed outright. For example, in his 3rd mission, he plays mercenary, and just as all the team is about to be poisoned eating a meal, he happens to detect it with a skill he coincidentally picked up in his 1st mission. Which is fine, but there's really no reason he hasn't died in any number of ways from soloing without being a jack-of-all-trades given the game's general unfairness. Or how he picked up a lockpicking skill recently, but up until he got the lockpicking skill, he's never encountered a locked door or chest or cabinet or anything, which is just a non-deadly form of plot armor.
There are fun quirks that make the worlds fun; in his 2nd mission, he's basically Sherlock Holmes, and the MC alters his speech accordingly on the theory that playing his assigned character role will make the NPCs act more positively, which appears to be correct although it's not really proven either way. At any rate, the fact that he's essentially shifting to different settings allows the story to keep from getting dull, and the author is quite good at pulling off a variety of settings that feel significantly different.
All in all, a well-written, entertaining and refreshingly different take on a VRMMO stat-based quantum-leap style world (apparently this is a sorta established genre in the Chinese webnovel world, but I haven't read others).
Ciara most annoying character to read.....
