The chapter is short but it does exactly what it needs to do. What I appreciate most is how the author controls the rhythm. The comedic scenes are fast and punchy (the neighbor cursing, the fake snoring, the nose pinch). The breakfast scene slows down with sensory details—the smell of dumplings, the heat, the soy sauce and vinegar. Then the agency scene is deliberately quiet and empty until the shrill voice shatters it. This is professional-level pacing. The story never drags, never rushes, and every scene has a clear purpose.

my favourite novel from this writer as the mc of his previous works were way too immature and weird for me but this mc has some potential, I like him as he doesn't make stupid decisions (except his enslaved by my forgotten wife which was also good) I like both the novels of his. I am really happy he has made a genuinely smart mc who is not an idiot who does what he is told not to. all in all loving this book

I don't know why this book has such low views and fans. Although I only recently started reading on Webnovel, I can tell this novel is great as a Murim and system story. It has a unique system and a ruthless MC. When I saw that this story had so few fans, I felt I should write a review for other readers.
